I'm Edinia. I'm a former reporter; former flak, nongeek. I appreciate the thought someone at Mac-Forums has taken anticipating questions about the forums before I even search for an answer to the question that led me here.

    Welcome Edinia

I'd like to think that somehow your name was associated with my home city, Edinburgh; but I guess that's way off beam.

Whatever, we're glad to have yo as a new member.

    Introduction
I'm David Eagles from the UK. Just starting with the iMac at 81 years of age so coming late to the party.
Hope I can feed some dumb questions into the Forum to get some help.

Welcome David. I think that it's pretty awesome that you just got your first Apple computer. If you have questions (simple or complex)...please post them.

Also. We have a pretty large group of members from the UK. You should feel right at home.

    Welcome, David.

It's great to have you part of the Forum. No dumb questions; might be the odd dumb answer - I speak for myself.

Remember, it's not about age, it's about attitude.

    Enjoy.

    Welcome David,

This is an awesome forum to get answers from. I've learned a lot just reading the posts. Bought my first Mac last year at 66 years old. You're never late for the party and there is no such thing as a dumb question.

A big welcome to all of our new comers from me too. If you get half the amount of help that I have had then I will be getting twice the help you do

No, seriously. It's a great place to learn from and even I get the chance to put something back at times.

    Welcome !!
John. I have discovered that wine gets better with age. The older I get the more I like it !
