You can always get a quote from like UPS or USPS or FedEx or whichever if it is pre-packed OR you know the weight and dimensions of the package. Or you can always just say Pay Actual Shipping Costs on your ad. It really ticks me off when people on Ebay gouge you for shipping even if it was a mistake. I have sold a lot on Ebay and I always charge a reasonable shipping cost based on what others charge and common sense. I know on yours though I would have had the same prob but in that case I would have just went in for a quote. I can honestly tell you that sometimes the amount of shipping cost will run people off if they think it is not reasonable.

retielnairb, what are the specs for that book?

    Specs:
    1.67 Ghz 17" PB w/1 GB Ram; 400 MHz PM G4, 366Mhz iBook Firewire, Nano 4GB Black
I would also be tempted to do the old fashioned thing, and take out a newspaper add. Every time I've put a mac in my local paper, I usually get calls the first day it's printed, and usually the offers are pretty good. There are more mac users/mac wannabies out there than you may think.

    Hi,

Here are specs for my PoweBook 15-inch:

    1.5 GHz PowerPC G4
    512 MB DDR SDRAM
    80 GB Hard Drive
    Combo Drive (DVD-ROM/CD-RW)

    It also comes with:

    AC cord
    AC plug
    DVI-to-VGA adapter
    Phone cord
    Power adapter
    S-video-to-composite adapter
    Original Box and Packaging
    Original OS Discs
    Original Manual

Condition: 8/10 with 1 being terrible 10 being excellent

I looked on ebay and it seemed like others were selling theirs around $1,200 - $1,300

What would you all suggest to be a good price to start the biding if I were to sell it on eBay. Is there a site where I can get an estimate on how much it's worth.
