Well, at least now we know Windows vulnerabilities are good for something...
Don't believe anything I tell you, unless it is consistent with what you already know to be true, or unless you have taken the time to research the matter to prove its accuracy to your satisfaction. This is known as "doing your homework."

Stuxnet isn't exactly news... wow... is fox really THIS behind? Go figure. Can't get them to give you any real info beyond "he said she said" bull crap, and then they're like 5 months late to the stuxnet party.

Stuxnet worm attacks industrial targets, could be aimed at Iran

And this isn't even the first time ars reported on it...

How terrible. Such a friendly country too.

The people actually are friendly and love american culture, if you've ever read persepolis or really anything regarding the islamic revolution of 1978/79... they overthrew the shah because they wanted more liberties. instead, as always, the political agenda of a few ****s over the many.

It may be old news, but that's the most in depth report I've seen anywhere to date about the intricacies of what it was designed to do.

In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.

Yea, it's actually decent once you get into it. Didn't think they'd go so far in.

I especially like the angle speculating that Germany, Russia, the US and others worked on this jointly for years. Between that embarrassment, Wikileaks cables regarding Arab monarchs and heads of state wanting Anutinadinnerjacket dead, and the revelation via Google Earth that the Israeli's put the Star of David on the roof of their airport in the 60's... it's been a fun week to be an Iranian Ayatollah, I'm sure. Wonder who will get a fatwa declared against their head(s) over this one?

If anybody deserves a fatwa, it'd be the idiot leaders who neglected to invest in science and tech in favor of enforcing a rigid set of religious laws.

Stuxnet worm is the 'work of a national government agency' | Technology | guardian.co.uk

Interesting who may/may not be behind it. Concentration in Indonesia is a worry to us, the8thark, as there have been reports of extremists working with Middle Eastern nuclear scientists.
