So what do you think? Does CNet have an anti-mac bias? I know the reader base tends to be a little more on the PC side but what about the organization? I'm thinking particularly of their reviews and tone in news articles.

Who cares either way? Thanks for the poll though. :)

Poll is a little messed up tho.

Really needs to be select only one option, but it's set to select multiple options, so although only 8 people have voted, the totals look messed up... Otherwise, it appears that the total is 150%, which makes it impossible to judge the real values of any entry - only 8 people voted at the point where I looked at the results, which should have been 8 entries, but there were 12 entries which really invalidates the results since a person could vote for all options at the same time...

They don't really, many of their writers use macs, now however toms hardware is terrible I refuse to go there because of the mac bias.

Tom's Hardware went downhill when the site was sold a few years ago. I don't go there for practically any reason anymore. If you want a good tech site, check out TechReport.com.

Personally, I have always liked CNet's reviews and never found any reason to consider them as having an anti-Mac bias. They are certainly critical, but I've never known them to be unreasonably so.

To the OP, do you have a specific example?

The reviews themselves, not so much. The users, most definitely.

They do have good reviews, never really noticed any mac bias though!

Maybe it's just me!? lol
