I am running OS 9.2.2 & the latest Internet Explorer. I am having a problem with my download manager, it seems to have disappeared, I've tried re-installing the software, but it still isn't there? Has anyone else ever come across this problem, as it is very annoying????

No, I have basically the same setup and have never experienced anything like that. You might try trashing the prefs file which could be corrupted. Check that you have a valid download folder as well, set in preferences > download options.

kojo, it might be a good idea if you check the date stamp of messages before posting :) This one's more than a year old.

Any clue to how to import favorites in ie 5.1..? It keeps importing them as a single bookmark. It's really dumb.. I've tried changing the extension... No luck...

This is an extremely active community, just go to the top and click on "Get New" every half hour, every hour, and you'll see how many people posted during that time.. quite a few most all the time.

If someone knows the answer then they'll post to you. And my answer is go to http://www.macupdate.com and search for a utility that will do what you want it to do. I know there are several out there. Oh wait.. you're wanting to import favorites into IE.. nevermind.. that's why you're not getting any answers.. no one uses IE :) We all use Safari, Mozilla, Firefox, Opera, etc etc

The days of IE being the best browser are long gone. It is the supreme import-of-spyware browser now (windows) The extent to which M$ IE and outlook express have gone to track user internet use and create inter - app flexibility and the new TC (trusted computing) BARF may well spell the gradual end of doz. It did for me

Murlyn, thanks for the reply, as well as the website. I was starting to lose hope. I bought my ibook polish. I'm so close to putting this thing on ebay.
