I recently installed boot camp on my MacBook, and I can't access the internet on the Vista OS. The wireless internet I'm using from my home works fine on Mac OS X, however, it says that there is a problem accessing the wireless on Vista. I can access the other wireless options, but not the one I usually use. Any suggestions?

Did you install the driver disc that was created during Boot Camp setup?

A lot of times what happens is that Vista warns you each time a driver install is attempted. It makes it seem like you're doing something wrong because it warns you that the drivers are "unsigned". I would try running the driver install from the CD you created once again, this time paying very careful attention to any warning messages you receive. Regardless of the context, be sure to answer them in the affirmative (allowing the action to proceed).

In addition, make sure you're using the latest version of Boot Camp, as it has been updated fairly recently.

I used the latest version of bootcamp, and I re-installed the drivers. It still doesn't work however.

when in Vista, try clicking on the internet icon in the system tray(it resembles two tiny monitors). you should notice your internet connection there, so just go with the flow after that. I had the same issue after install. Good Luck

I had this problem recently but on XP so it might not be the same problem.

I guess you've put in your WEP (or whatever it is) key?

Well you need to dig a bit deeper for more options to possible change your settings to 'shared key'. Not entirely sure where it is but you'll find it.

Hope this helps as it's not complete answer.

Felix
