    15in i7 MacBook Pro, 8GB RAM, 120GB SSD, 500GB HD
    They come with Textedit, which is a simple text editor, or you can try Open Office, a open source office suite.

    You might try NeoOffice - I find it easier and nice looking (and free). It is based on Open Office.
