hello guys. I just got my new Mac system. I heard about the new anti-virus software, called “Anvi Smart Defender”. not sure about that software. What's the operating system of it? thanx:)

Here's the LINK. It's Windows only. You don't need it anyway as there are no viruses in the wild that can affect your Mac. There are some trojans but you can easily avoid them by staying away from porn sites and pirate sites.

Coming from the Windows environment, if you feel you must have antivirus software, download ClamXAV which is freeware and one of the best available. Avoid the commercial software where you pay to download Windows virus definitions. As our staff member pointed out, no viruses on Mac OS X.
