So, I have a new iMac 27" with Windows 7 installed via bootcamp, and I have some Ati driver issues that I cannot fix.

I bought and installed bootcamp around 6 months ago. Ati drivers worked, but catalyst control center never installed. The ATi technologies folder is just empty, and I cannot choose CCC when installing the Amd driver suit.

Yesterday I tried to fix this problem. I installed the latest drivers from Ati website. The drivers seemed to work, but no CCC. So I uninstalled the drivers, rebooted in safe mode and used driver sweeper to get rid of the display drivers, tried to install the newest Ati driver for my desktop graphics card again and this time neither the drivers nor CCC is working. So I'm stuck with an iMac without graphics drivers.

Can someone please help me get the drivers AND ccc installed. I really need catalyst control center and the newest drivers. My Ati card is HD5750.

You need to use the mobility drivers, not the desktop ones.

I read that on this forum a couple of hours ago. Make sense when you think about it. iMac, and mac in general, is totally new to me.

But shouldn't catalyst control center have been installed anyway? I have searched and it seems that alot of ppl have the same problem on all kinds of different setups.

I installed the right driver this time. Found on ATIs website, navigating to MAC->Bootcamp this time and not Desktop. Even CCC works now, wonderfull!

I guess CCC did not work before because the original drivers installed while updating windows. Just the wrong drivers otr something. Anyway, I'm happy panda!

Glad you got it working.... just one thing. The Bootcamp 'approved' driver you got is version 8.8 from Jan 2011.

If you want the latest version go via Notebook Graphics - Radeon HD - to get the latest 11.9 version from end of Sept 2011.
