    Windows XP/7 in external HD?
I would like to know if I can run windows XP and/or windows 7 on and external USB hard drive. Since I only have 120 GB HD for my internal I would to dual boot and maybe it would be nice to install windows on the external to save some space. Perhaps just create a partition on the external and install it into that? I currently have a mac book pro, if that helps any.

Windows in any flavour doesn't sort running from an external drive I'm afraid.

You can always install a larger hard disk in you MBP.
External hard disk acquisition addict - but admitting the problem is the first step to a robust backup
