i am so confused

Hi all
First time poster here - apologies if my question has been asked and answered elsewhere and my searching couldn't find it.

I have bought VM Fusion to run serif PagePlus X3 on our new MAC. I don't have the windows disks from the old windows laptop

Is there anything I can do to get windows on my mac?

Do I need to explain anything else to the brains on the forum

Yes...buy some install disks for the Windows version you prefer.

We both know the answer to that...no! Gotta buy your own install disks.

If you want to install VMware Fusion, Parallels, or Windows via Bootcamp...all three methods of getting Windows to run on a Macintosh require you to have a legal set of Windows install disks (just like you would need to install Windows on a non-Macintosh "Windows" computer).

As Nick stated, that would be in violation of the MS EULA, so don't do it.

Another option is to buy an OS X comparable program to PagePlus and not have to run Windows on your Mac. There are many good desktop publishing programs for the Mac to choose from, some expensive, some not expensive. Look around, do some searching, download some trial copies.

The reason for PagePlus is that my wife has created a lot of stuff for her website (Brown Paper Packages - Welcome) using this software

Don't get me wrong, PagePlus is a great program; I've used it for years while doing Windows. Matter of fact, I still have all my original DVDs.

However, it's really a drag to have to install Windows for just one program. Have your wife give some of these a try:

iStudio Publisher

Swift Publisher

Both the above have trial copies for download, easy to use, and are inexpensive.
