    Windows 7 Boot issues
    i have been running a dual boot system since i got it a few months ago.
    my bootcamp partition still works when i use parallels but when i try to boot into it i got to my password screen enter the password then the screen goes black the backlight goes out on the keyboard and everything stops working.

    27" iMac i5, 3.2 GHz, iPad 3, iPhone 5c, iPhone 6+, 3 iPods, Yosemite
    Since your Parallels VM is still working OK, that tells me that it might be the Windows 7 boot sector that somehow got corrupted. You can try to repair the Windows 7 startup using the instructions given here from the Win 7 forums.
