I have installed OpenSuse 11.3on my macbook and overwrote the Macintosh HD (This was intentional I wanted to test the system with linux only)

When the system is booted it just stays on the white screen unless I hold the option key.

If I hold the option key the drive says "windows" when I click that it loads suse fine.

Also once in when i shutdown the system it will begin shutdown and hang up.

Last issue: Linux cant seem to find a suitable driver for the graphics card for this macbook.

I know that was a lot for 1 post but I would appreciate any help with this.

Since you're not running OS X, it's probably best to ask your questions in the OpenSuse forums. Your MBP is a Linux box now....

Not trying to avoid answering you, but you will get better answers there.
