    Exclamation Anti virus software for boot camp.
    I want to know if there is any anti virus software for windows(boot camp) that wont cause any kernel panics when I'm running OSX. (thats if anti virus software can cause kernel panics on OSX)
    24'' Intel iMac, 3.06 GHZ dual core processor, 4 GB ram @ 800mhz, Nvidia 8800 GT graphics card with 512MB of GDDR3 memory, 500 GB Serial ATA hard drive, 6 MB shared L2 cache.

    Not an issue. what you run under Boot Camp won't be running when you run OSX. The computer boots and runs off two separate partitions. Just pick the anti-virus software you want to use in Windows and run it.

    Specs:
    iMac i5 2.7GHz, 16GB memory, OS 10.10.5
    Download Microsoft Security Essentials and run that. Has nothing to do with OS X.
