Problem with Windows running on startup

I just recently got my first Mac (iMac) and I have (seems like it) successfully installed Windows Vista on it. I have installed all the Boot Camp drivers also, but I have one problem. When I start the computer and DO NOT press the OPT key Windows starts up automatically.

I want OS X to run at startup and I thought that's what would happen... or? And you're supposed to run Windows by pressing the OPT key and choosing the Windows partition.

How can I fix this? Any help appreciated.

(Additionally before the Windows loading bar I get a bunch of text saying about some errors and booting etc. but everything else works fine)

You'll need to change the default startup disk in either Windows or Mac OS X.

In Windows, it should be in the Control Panel => Boot Camp settings.

In OS X, it should be in System Preferences => Startup Disk.

Ok, thanks, that worked great. I didn't realize you have to do that.

No problem, glad I could help.

I don't like to be one of those "you should have read the manual" types, but it is covered in the documentation you're prompted to print out by the Boot Camp Assistant ;D
