i know nothing about macs. my gf has an ipod and powerbook g4. the ipod is full of music. we are getting ready to format and install a fresh os x. what happens when she hooks up her ipod to a new install of itunes? won't it sync, and delete the music on her ipod since there won't be any on her hdd? we need to make sure her ipod music doesn't get deleted.
