Hi,

I'm trying to understand if /Users folder is a symbolic link or a seperate mount. I assume that the original folder is located at
/Volumes/Macintosh HD/Users

when i issue
ln -l
either in /Volumes/Macintosh HD or in / i don't get the symbolic link symbol (->).

Also mount doesn't show if /Users is a seperate mount.

These two folders are the same, if i'm not mistaken, so what am i missing?

Thank you
Teo

It's neither - it's a folder at the root level.

/Volumes/Macintosh HD (or whatever someone calls it) is simply a symlink back to /.
