what software for transferring windows email to mac?

Are programs like O2M and Thunderbird pretty popular or are there better apps out there for transferring email? Thanks

Your Mac's Specs
Late 2013 rMBP, i7, 750m gpu, OSX versions 10.9.3, 10.10
I was using outlook on windows, and Outlook2Mac to transfer it over to OSX - worked great for me.

As stated, Outlook2Mac works well and is a good bargain at $10.00. However, if you're looking for an app that's free, then Thunderbird is the best choice. T-Bird will convert both Outlook and OE mail which then can be converted to Mac Mail.

I used O2M as well and it was worth the 10$ no issues. I transferred 10 yrs worth of outlook mail...
