Can anyone recommend a Mac-friendly scanner? Pref. I need:
1. fairly high resolution as I need to scan photos and possibly slides (the latter is not essential)
2. an Automatic Document Feeder (either built in or as an option)
If the ADF is a problem or very expensive, just a good high-res scanner is fine.
By Mac-friendly I mean one that has more than just basic TWAIN support. My last "Mac compatible" was not very compatible. Yes it could scan via TWAIN, but only the *entire* length of the scanner, you could not select the area you wanted, and resolution was limited to choices of 300, 600, or 1200 dpi. The quality was rubbish as well (this was an HP MFP btw).
