Cool, now that's something to put on your CV :)

Do you know where they're using scriptalicious? Are all those new sliding boxes powered by your script?

No I'm not sure where, maybe no where at all. My contribution is allowing a multi-track audio engine via only javascript. I haven't heard anything on their site yet - but I haven't poked around either. So it could be that they are not even using it at all. I'm just psyched to see my name there =)

Dude that is awsome!

Now, will you see any cheese for that, or is it just for reputation resume etc.?

Nah, no cheese. Scriptaculous is free. So is my part in it.
Yes, it's basically for reputation / resume accomplishments. Gosh I have to update that ancient thing...

Then I can churn that data to see what search terms people looked for to find me, as well as what sites have hard links to me. images.apple.com was one of the hard-link referer records.

You're the the ideal person to ask: Does this referrer code work when, using a Mozilla extension, I have Send Referrer turned off? Or is there a way for a page author to bypass my no-referrer setting?

The cookie I set is a session cookie. As soon as close the window the cookie disappears. The cookie's use is so that as you browse the site, the server can keep track of you... for good, not evil =)
Oh yes I do set a seven day cookie... so you don't see the intro animation every single visit. Only once a week. Aren't I nice?

I believe that if you turn off 'send referrer' the server does not get the information. I've never tried it though. Tell you what... click here and then submit the form. I'll let you know if the referer was passed. BTW, you get to hear a cool SOS sound when you submit the form :)
