Hi all, quick question.

Im currently backing up my external onto another so that i can use Drive Genius 3 to format my main external to GUID so that it can be used as a bootable disk. The HD that i am doing this on is a 1.5TB drive which i plan to use for a lot of other stuff after this process.
My question is once i get done formatting this drive will i still be able to create partitions for other material or will doing this format leave stuck having to use the entire 1.5TB as the bootable disk? Thanks for the help in advance everyone i really appreciate it!

No, you should be able to create additional partitions with Disk Utility. The drive will still be bootable.
