Recently purchased a new iMac. My MacBook was running tiger so I was backing up with SuperDuper. I am now using Time Machine and Im wondering if I should do anything other then letting it run. If my main drive fails and I replace it can I just plug in my external time machine backup and everything will be restored? itunes, iphoto, dashboard, address book, etc?

Time Machine allows you to do a full system restore in case something happens to your main drive.

There is a lot of good stuff on the site below.

Apple - Support - Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard Time Machine

To be honest, I believe Time Machine and apps. like SuperDuper are complimentary when it comes to recovery from data loss.

Cheers.
