I've had my MacBook for almost 2 years now (it's an old white one) and for a few months now if I close it before I go to bed but don't put it to sleep, when I try to use it the next morning it won't turn on no matter what. The white light is on, power cord is green, battery says it's full up, but what ever I try it won't turn on. So I have to hold the power button down and restart it. It's stuck as if it were closed.

I'm pretty sure it cannot be the battery because I just got a new one a few weeks ago and this problem happened even before I got it.
