Hello fellow mac users,

I recently got a macbook pro and i am happy with the purchase and ease of use. However, I have accidentally setup one hot key (left shift) to show me 'active windows/applications'. so every time i press the left shift key, it essentially highlights whatever is running. it is also mac book default 'F9' or Expose - All windows.

I, can not for the life of me figure out how to disable left shift from this hot key. As I can no longer use it as Shift and I want it back.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am going insane!

thank you.

Welcome to the forums. Try going to your systems preferences and in the keyboard section go to the shortcuts. Click on Expose & Spaces section and see if the shift key is set for anything. Whether it is or not try clicking on the restore defaults button and see if that solves your problem.
