Cannot run Matlab on macbook pro with Mavericks

hey i am trying to install mat lab in macbook pro running mavericks,but am unable.When i hit install button and mat lab opens and closes.Please help me resolve this issue as i am engineering student and need to use mat lab.i don't want to run windows unless hopeless

Make sure you're trying to install a version of MatLab that is compatible with Mavericks. See the following article: LINK

I suspect that you are using an older version. Like Harry mentioned. Matlab is compatible with Mavericks...just got to have the correct version.:)

How do I get in on that deal? Wait a minute . . . this probably involves large amounts of exercise and restraining oneself from overconsumption of cheeseburgers and desert. That can't end well.

I'll let you know how things turn out when I get closer to 110!;)

I may be doing good with the exercise…but overconsumption of cheeseburgers & dessert…as well as soda, bacon, french fries, etc…is a VERY VERY different matter!;);)
