Capturing streaming audio?

I saw a thread about capturing video, but I want to capture audio programs. Some live, some prerecorded...and DVR programmability would be nice!

What are your experiences? Recommendations?

Take a look at Audio Hijack Pro or RadioShift from Rogue Amoeba | Quality Audio Software for Mac OS X. RadioShift is specifically designed for that purpose but Audio Hijack Pro has more flexibility for other types of recording as well. Both offer trial periods and I believe the cost is the same no matter which program you choose.
