Networking shared Windows XP printer with OSX

Hi,

I have a HP PSC 1401 printer installed and being shared on my windows box in my office, and I have my Macbook Pro in my living room that I want to be able to print from. I can see the printer when I go to add it, but when it comes down to a driver I don't have that printer to select. The funny thing is, that same printer used to be connected locally to the USB, and I of course installed the driver then, but now that I want it networked, it won't show up in the list. I'm stumped, what can I do?

Some drivers are USB only, so you basically need to find a driver that doesn't care about how the printer is connected.
