dear all,

Just setting up my mac pro now and i have one v quick question before I make a mistake!

I have a PCI usb hub card thing which I had in my PC. Am I okay to fit it to a mac. I dont have the box for it anymore!

If yes which slot do I put it in or does it not matter. Any help appreciated.

Thanks Josh

PS PC now trashed with HDs removed and I am on the wife's. Still if it stops her shopping for 5 mins then excellent imac.

Is it PCIE?

Is it Mac compatible? Must have a brand name on it?

Hi. No idea on the first question. It was bought from pc world in the uk about six month ago. Box was thrown the same day and there is no brand name anywhere on the card.

Have checked the pc world website but not on there. So I guess I am off out today to check. Thanks for the response. Much appreciated.

Hope you never installed it in a PCIE slot and you do not need this as the Mac Pro comes with ample USB2 connections.
