magic mouse connections

I've noticed that my magic mouse has been losing connection more and more lately. Less than 1 month old. I replaced batteries, but can't figure out why the connection loss. Any ideas?

did you switch your mouse off anytime when your mac is off ? do not switch off your mouse. see what happens.

Only after finding connection had been lost did I switch on/off.
