I had a problem when i go to restore a RAID on my Mac Pro 8-core. when i ran the Apple Hardware Test. it gave me this error code:

4HDD/1/40000000: SATA (1,0)

i don't know what it means and i had no success on Google. anyone know what it could mean.

yes all peripherals were disconnected prior to running the AHT. i broke up the RAID then ran the test on each drive one at a time and only got this error message on one drive out of the 4 drives.

i took a look at that link above and it was no help to me.

Ok boot from your install DVD, go to Utilities, select Disk Utility and Drive 4, or whichever one came up faulty, and run Repair Disk.
