ipod touch

i just was wondering about the wifi feature on the ipod touch. Would I have to pay for internet access with the ipod touch, since it can go on the net??? how would that be set up if so?? and since i am basically on the web, i can then check my email right??

You will need a wifi access point from where the touch will access the internet. Now if you have wifi setup at home, then there will be no charge, cause it's your home internet. However, if you go to a restaurant which charges for Wifi, then yes, you will have to pay for it.

And Safari is very capable browser on the Touch, you can sure check your email and do pretty much anything (except view flash content)
