icloud/iphone password ?

Newbie here first of all glad to be here. Ok My icloud on my mac and on my iphone somehow got 2 different passwords on the but they both have the same email. so my icloud isn't sharing info back and forth to my mac to my iphone. How do I switch or can I switch the passwords on my icloud account.? thx in advance for any answers

Maybe signing into one with your Apple ID and the other with a separate iCloud account?
I'd sign out of both and then sign back in with your Apple ID and the same password on both.
Or just sign out of whichever one is not using your Apple ID and sign back in.
