memory upgrad

I have a powerbook 15" 1.67 GHZ with DDR2 Ram (2 slots) which now have
two 512 modules. I was told at the Apple store that I could upgrade to
2 Gigs (1 gig each slot). They even recommended a site Http: critical.com
for buying memory.

Apparently they do not sell (at their site) 1 gig for my computer.

Ok. Where can I buy ram...(if there is any available for my powerbook)
I can do self install.

I am doing this so I can use leopard without slowing down. Thank you!

Here's two sites we usually recommend:

Crucial
OWC

2 gig is the max. ram.

Hi Nick....I did try Crucial. No one gig of ram moduals available for my powerbook.
