I use Apple Mail and have added my Gmail account to it. It has been working okay (for almost a year) but I have just noticed if I try to send an email to myself in Apple Mail using my Gmail account, Apple Mail won't retrieve but when I check my Gmail on the web the message it is there. Does anyone know why this is or can they check this my sending an email to yourself if you have configured Apple Mail to receive your Gmail messages.
I have checked the configuration of the account and I am using Apple Mail 2.1. Also I still receive emails sent from my Hotmail account and they arrive into my Gmail (Apple Mail inbox) Account.
