Unistalling sidenote

I cant get this bloody program off my computer (macbook). I am used to a pc where i can just uninstall. This program docks on the side of the desktop and every time i roll my mouse over it it pops out and is so annoying.

Please help me get rid of this program or at teh very least disable it so it gets off my desktop.

I love sidenote. It's very useful and I use it to store all sorts of snippets and save them for future use.

The way to quit the app is simple: under the gear-like icon you will activate the following drop-down menu and you now know from looking at the attached screenshot below, where you can quit the program.

If sidenote launches every time you boot your Mac, it must be because it is in your Startup Items.
