Hollow audio sound on my FCE movies

I recorded a short clip from my macbook pro speakers and there was a very noticeable hollow sound. How do I get rid of this sound in my recordings?

I'm sorry; I don't follow. The sound came out of you MacBook Pro speakers and you recorded it for inclusion in FCE? How did it sound to your ear as it came out of the speakers? How did you record it? How did you bring it into FCE?
