Faulty iMac G5 Display

I have a pre-intel IMAC G5 which is two years old & outside of any Apple service warranty.

My display two weeks ago started to display yellow lines across the display. This is an intermittant problem but the lines are getting more & more, making it difficult to view the screen at times.

I think it could be a prob with the logic board & any ideas how much these cost or any other fixes for the display problem?

Mmm. Doesn't sound good. A new motherboard is often expensive and it often best to just buy a new model.
