We got a new router and since then we've had problems with our internet connection on both my old iBook and now my MacBook Pro. The connection is strong and fast and then it just stops working. When I click the Network Diagnostics, the problems fixes itself before I can even go through the steps. I don't know what's causing it to lose the connection or how it fixes itself, but it doesn't seem to be a problem on my husband's PC. Anyone else have this problem? Maybe the Belkin routers are just not a good fit for Macs? Thanks.

Try adding your ISPs Primary and Secondary DNS numbers to Sys Prefs/Network/Airport settings boxes in both iBook and MBP and see if that helps.
