I've decided to but the Airport Extreme. I see "new" ones on eBay that could save me quite a few bucks even with shipping.... Has anyone purchased one of these from eBay? Do you have a seller that you could recommend?

If I buy one from eBay and it's new will Apple's warranty be valid...and if I buy a used one is there a problem with licenses and stuff...???

Thanks in advance...

That's something you should ask Apple. I know for some other manufacturers that if the product is not sold by them or an official reseller, that the warranty is void. Most eBay sellers are not authorized resellers.

I would seriously avoid anything labeled as "new" on ebay.
If you want new, then get it from Apple.

Ebay Airport Extreme

I bought an Airport Extreme router for £60.00 on Ebay from Southern Ireland. It was brand new in a sealed box. I registerd it with apple then contacted them to confirm it was OK.
