Hi. New Mac user here.
I currently have a home network set up in my house, running 2 PC's connected to a Dlink Dual Band N (DIR-628) router. Both PC's are ethernet connected for work. I have an Intel I-Mac downstairs which I am trying to connect wirelessly to the same network. I turn Airport on, and it is finding the network name. When I type in the password which I set up when configuring the router for the first time, it says "network requires WPA password", and I get a connection timeout.
When I setup the router, I set it up for WPA, and there is only one password which I was ever prompted for. I'm using that password on the MAC, but it keeps giving me the same message.
any thoughts?
thanks very much.
