Anyone done any hacks to the Clamshell iBooks?
A week ago we were getting lots of frost and causing the power to blink, it was driving me nuts so just shut everything down for most of the day. Seeing how I could not work on the desktop and did not have all the stuff I needed on the iBook I decided to play instead
I took the covers off the the screen and removed the metalic tape so now the apple logo glows when the backlight is on. If you want to have a look go to www.ibook.homestead.com. I have mine and a couple of others on there.
I remember seeing some hacks done in Japan but can't find links anymore.
