I have finally switched and i thank everyone for answering my questions. I went today to the apple store to pick up my blackbook 2.16 ghz 2gb ram, 160 gb HDD, and i love it and my parents are amazed by its abilities. I got the educational discount, so i got 100 dollars off, apple care plan (3year) a free (red) nano, and a free hp printer. So far i love it, i'll be having pics up soon, including a video....
i cant think of anyhting to say, im just too excited.

Also could everyone who replies to this thread list an application that i should download, or any suggestions to an mac newcomer. I downloaded istat pro, and i love it.

once again i'll post pics later, as soon as i copy all my music to my itunes. GOD i love the way it arranges my music btw:D

A free red Nano? Dang, all I got was a free printer when I got my wife's black Macbook, and nothing when I got my white one. Oh well.

Google for QTAmateur. It plays quicktime movies in full screen without having to pay the $30 for QT Pro.

For screen shots I use Snap 'n Drag.

Go to Apple and try out a few of the widgets there. You'll find them on the Mac OS X tab. There are some really cool, time saving ones, depending on what you need to have handy.
