I have a problem with my iMac which I hope to address. My machine is an Intel based the entry level iMac 1.86GHz Core Duo system with OS X Leopard 10.5.5 installed. This problem has been present every since I had ordered the used machine, and installing various update seems to have did nothing to address the issue. The problem occurs when ever I schedule the Mac to shutdown/restart. After I turn it back own, the screen’s brightness is turned all the way down, and I have to manually adjust screen’s brightness to its original settings.
Is this a know issue with iMacs, and if so is there any way to fix this problem? Thank you.
