I've got an eMac - 800Mhz, 60Gb, 512RAM. I upgrated my memory from 256Mb to 512Mb some time ago and now that I'm running Photoshop CS2 I find that even it alone goes quite slow. Can I replace the two 256Mb DIMMs with two 512Mb DIMMs on my model eMac?

Thanks

This model maxes out at 1 GB. From Low End Mac: "RAM: 128/256 MB, expandable to 1,024 MB using two PC133 SDRAM (3.3 V, 64-bit, 168-pin, 100 MHz)." While later eMacs may "unofficially" go over the rated amounts the early models, 700 & 800 mhz, appear to be limited to 1 GB total.
