Hi I have done a lot of design work and art working for a creative agency over the last year. I am assuming I cannot put this on a website of my own. Should I do some design work with fictional client names to show or just a load of personal projects. My work is retail based point of sale branding etc, I want to have some brochures, invites, all sorts really. Anyone got any pointers for me I would be very grateful.
Thanks
Sam

You are right to presume that the agency, not you, owns that work.

I think the "fictional name substitution" idea is a good one.

If you have IP with the company you can request materials for your portfolio. At the very least credible links to your work.
