How would i make sure i completely uninstaled a software on my macbook pro?

Well yesterday i installed the free trial of aperture but i did not like it so i want it completly gone from my hard drive what i did is that i went in to finder and searched aperture and draged everything to the trash was that all that has to be done?how do i know that i completely uninstaled that software on macbook pro???
