- iMac 27" i5 Quad Core 2.8 GHz, OSx 10.6.4 and Windows 7 Pro.
This subject has most likely been covered in previous posts but it is irritating............
I am running OSx 10.6.4 and Win 7 via Boot Camp on my iMac i5.
Everything runs just fine, no problems except that Windows refuses to "wake" in the same way as OSx does, with just a touch of the keyboard or mouse.
When leaving the machine running on Windows undisturbed for any length of time I return to a dead screen which neither the keyboard or mouse have any effect in attempts to awaken Win 7, nothing at all..
Even the on/off switch on the back of the machine does not respond..
It appears that the only way to recover is to turn off the power supply at the wall, then reboot back into Windows.. (not best practice).
Can anyone point me in the right direction please ??
