Using Capitalization in Pages

I have updated to the newest version of Pages and I can't seem to get the Capitalization feature to work. In particular, the first letter of a new sentence was always capitalized in the previous version of Pages, but not this time. Any suggestions?

How does one use the Capitalization function in the newest version of Pages? Before, it would automatically correct capital letters at the beginning of new sentences, but this version doesn't. It's listed on the drop-down list but nothing seems to happen when I click it. Any suggestions?

Have you checked the preference section to see if capitalization un ticked.

Thanks for replying. There is no way to check or uncheck Capitalization in the drop-down panel. I don't know why it's there. Nothing happens when you click on it.
