"Unknown error occurred " after typing in apple ID to upgrade apps on I Pad 1. Cannot download or upgrade apps

It's probably nothing serious. I would wait a bit and try again later before becoming concerned.

You could of course check to see that your credentials are still okay by visiting iTunes on another machine.

I am good on other machines with the credentials. I will just wait a while, might have something to do with the OS Upgrade on the older iPad
