Very nice find!! I wish I had waited till now to upgrade, I would have saved a bundle!!

Luckily for the members looking to upgrade, this is a great time to buy. Hurry up guys, this expires soon (May 18) and I suggest you jump on it, this is some good RAM. :)

So will this work well on Macbooks? (e.g., I thought generic RAM might not work so well, so it was better to buy RAM tailored for Macbooks or something like that--is this one of the 'good for Macbook' RAMs?)
Also, will it work on Macbook Pros?

So if I understand this correctly, these would also fit my iMAC? Apple lists the iMac memory as "667MHz DDR2 PC2-5300 2x1GB SO-DIMMs" for the 2GB Upgrade.
anybody know if this would work?

Sounds like it will work. As long as the Mhz is the same and it's PC2-5300, you should be fine

Yes, this particular type of RAM will work in the Macbook, Macbook Pro, and the iMac. It is also very good RAM, as Corsair is a very reputable company when it comes to memory. :)

And if Apple decides to upgrade any of their Macbooks/Macbook Pros soon, this RAM will also work on those?

I would say yes, but I can in no way guarantee it, there is no way to tell what Apple will/can do, but most likely they will stick with generic notebook ram for their eneds.

Ya definitely a great price. I made the mistake of buying my RAM from apple. They originally tried to charge me $350 for 2GB, but I worked them down to $150. I still could have saved more, but i didnt actually pay for it.....

I had RAM ordered from Newegg. It is Corsair, 1 GB RAM, $30 after rebate.

The same RAM from zipzoomfly is $27 after rebate.

Wouldn't you only be able to take advantage of one rebate as normally they say one rebate per household?

I found this deal from Crucial. It's pretty much the same price as the Corsair one except 1 GB less.

I wanted to know, is there any quality difference between Corsair and Crucial? I want to upgrade my memory but I want to be sure I'm getting good memory.

They're both good memory companies, so you'll be happy with either one. Just go with the one that's cheaper :)
